1. Agreement to Terms

By booking services with The Pet Angels London ("we", "us", "our"), the Client confirms they have read, understood and accepted these Terms & Conditions. A booking constitutes a legally binding agreement between the Client and The Pet Angels London.

2. Payment

Full payment is due no later than 48 hours before the first scheduled visit unless otherwise agreed in writing.

​

We reserve the right to cancel, suspend, or refuse services where payment has not been received by the due date.

​

Any outstanding balance may incur an administrative fee of £5 together with any reasonable costs incurred in recovering unpaid sums.

​

3. Client Information & Disclosure

The Client warrants that all information provided regarding their cat(s), property, access arrangements and emergency contacts is complete, accurate and up to date.

This includes disclosure of:

• medical conditions;

• medication requirements;

• behavioural concerns;

• aggression;

• escape tendencies;

• dietary restrictions;

• recent veterinary treatment.

We shall not be liable for any loss, injury, illness, escape, death, damage, expense or claim arising directly or indirectly from inaccurate, incomplete or undisclosed information supplied by the Client.

4. Veterinary Authorisation

In the event that a cat becomes ill, injured or appears to require veterinary attention, we shall make reasonable efforts to contact the Client.

​

Where the Client cannot be reached, the Client authorises us to seek veterinary advice, treatment, transportation, medication, hospitalisation, surgery and other professional care considered reasonably necessary for the welfare of the cat.

​

The Client shall be solely responsible for all veterinary fees, treatment costs, medications, transportation fees and related expenses.

​

The Pet Angels London accepts no responsibility for the outcome of veterinary treatment provided by a qualified veterinary professional.

5. Medication

Where medication is to be administered, the Client must provide written instructions.

​

Whilst reasonable care will be taken, we cannot guarantee that a cat will accept medication or treatment.

​

We shall not be liable for any illness, injury, deterioration in health or death arising from a cat's refusal of medication or from incorrect instructions provided by the Client.

​

6. Keys, Security and Property Access

The Client is responsible for ensuring all keys, alarm codes, access instructions and entry arrangements are accurate and functional.

We shall not be liable for loss arising from:

• faulty locks;

• defective alarms;

• failed electronic access systems;

• incorrect access information;

• actions of landlords, neighbours or third parties preventing access.

Where emergency locksmith services are required due to circumstances beyond our control, associated costs shall be the Client's responsibility.

​

Keys will be stored securely and used solely for the purpose of providing contracted services.

​

7. Property and Insurance

The Client agrees to maintain adequate insurance for their property, contents and pets throughout the booking period.

​

We are not responsible for loss or damage caused by:

• the cat(s);

• third parties;

• burglary;

• vandalism;

• utility failures;

• plumbing leaks;

• mechanical failures;

• weather events;

• other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

​8. Outdoor Access

We strongly recommend cats remain indoors during the booking period.

​

Where the Client requests or permits outdoor access, the Client expressly accepts all risks associated with such access.

​

The Pet Angels London shall not be liable for disappearance, theft, injury, illness, poisoning, road traffic accidents, attacks by animals, death or any consequential losses occurring while a cat is outside the property.

​

9. Limitation of Liability

The Pet Angels London will exercise reasonable care, skill and diligence in providing its services.

We shall not be liable for any injury, illness, death, loss, escape, theft, damage, expense or other loss arising from:

• pre-existing medical conditions;

• undisclosed behavioural or medical issues;

• actions of third parties;

• acts of other animals;

• veterinary treatment or advice provided by veterinary professionals;

• events outside our reasonable control;

• the client's instructions or decisions;

• outdoor access authorised by the client.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.

​

Subject to the above, The Pet Angels London's total liability arising from any booking, whether in contract, negligence or otherwise, shall not exceed the total fees paid by the client for the relevant booking.

10. Client Indemnity

The Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless The Pet Angels London, its owners, employees and representatives against all claims, damages, liabilities, costs, losses and expenses (including legal costs) arising from:

​

• the actions or behaviour of the Client's cat(s);

• inaccurate information supplied by the Client;

• failure to disclose relevant information;

• injury to any person;

• damage to property;

• veterinary treatment sought on behalf of the Client;

• breach of these Terms by the Client.

11. Unsafe Conditions

We reserve the right to refuse entry, terminate services immediately, or take alternative action where we reasonably believe that:

​

• an animal presents a risk;

• the property is unsafe;

• criminal activity is suspected;

• abusive or threatening behaviour occurs;

• conditions may endanger our safety.

​​

In such circumstances, no refund shall be due.

​

12. Force Majure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, road closures, transport disruption, illness, injury, government restrictions, emergencies or utility failures.​

​

13. Photographs, Data Protection and Marketing

The Client may choose whether photographs of their cat(s) may be used for marketing purposes.

​

Personal information shall be processed and stored in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation and used only for purposes connected with the provision of services.

​

14. Cancellation and Refunds

The applicable Cancellation Policy forms part of these Terms & Conditions and is incorporated by reference into every booking agreement.

15. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

​

Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subjected to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
